Abstract
Inclusio, a collaborative graphics accessibility solution, enables individuals with blindness and low vision, practitioners, and parents to find and create accessible graphics that can be experienced in multiple ways. Through a web-based, screen-reader compatible interface, Inclusio is a one-stop shop for three key community needs: 1) to be able to search among a host of existing accessible content, 2) to upload inaccessible content and modify it to make accessible formats, and 3) to generate new content that is accessible from its creation. Inclusio’s value comes from the ability to generate one accessible format that works across four primary output formats: a text description, a tactile graphic, an IVEO system, and an Android touchscreen. This choice in output allows users the ability to create and explore content in multiple ways that stretch across the digital and physical domains, ensuring that access is available wherever and however it is needed. In this presentation, we will share Inclusio’s latest advancements and provide a demonstration of current capabilities. Led by lived experience, Inclusio is in and of the community. We will share upcoming opportunities for testing and trialing Inclusio as well as opportunities to partner and become involved.
